Really horrible experience with D-Reizen. My partner and I booked a trip to Turkey over D-Reizen, however when we arrived to the hotel they told us our reservation could not be found. Mind you, we had already paid for the trip in full MONTHS before. We called the “emergency number” that we were given by D-Reizen only to find out that it was out of order, and since it was the weekend, we couldn't get ahold of anyone at D-Reizen. We had to pay an additional fee to cover the nights at the hotel (in addition to the outrageous ATM fee we had to pay because the hotel wouldn't take card which was not refunded) until we could finally get ahold of someone on Monday morning . By then, we were already extremely stressed and worried that our money was gone. Turns out that D-Reizen had partnered up with a company that was supposed to pay for our trip, but that company had gone bankrupt and had forgotten to pay our hotel. We requested to be compensated (obviously), and were offered a “100€ voucher for the next time we book a vacation”. Hah. Never again. Their argument was that they had to pay a higher fee to the hotel since it was last minute, which does not sound like that would be my problem. They messed up our vacation and are now making it our problem. Save yourself the trouble and just book the vacation yourself.
